Heat Packs

Heat packs are heat compresses used to relax muscles. A heat pack is an effective tool for stiff muscles and muscle pain, but a heat pack is also nice to use after sleeping and exercising.

Chattanooga and Sissel

Chattanooga supplies the Hydrocollator HotPacs. The HotPacs can be used for steam therapy and can be warmed up in the heating units from Chattanooga. The HotPacs are cost-saving because a pack can be used hundreds of times. That is why these hot packs are often used in physiotherapy. Sissel also has a heat pack. This heat pack can be warmed up without the help of a heating unit, microwave or hot water. The Sissel Therm Heat Pack can be warmed up by means of an activator bar.

Cold Packs

Cold packs are used as a cooling compress. Cold packs are used for swelling, injuries and sprains. Cold therapy helps to reduce swelling, reduce pain and promote recovery.

ColPac

ColPac provides ice packs that have a soothing and cooling effect on injuries and pain during rehabilitation. The 'cold therapy' provides effective pain relief. As the packs are in different sizes, each part of the body can be treated effectively with the therapy. The pain relief provided by the cold packs lasts for at least half an hour and offers immediate relief from the pain. The ColPac packs can be held in place with Nylatex Elastic Fixation Tapes.

Aircast

Aircast packs are easy to use and provide relief when swelling occurs due to surgery or injury, for example. The Aircast packs have a coupling on the underside, which allows the pack to be attached to the Aircast Cryo/Cuff IC Cooler. This device circulates cold water through the pack. The cold water cools the swelling and at the same time builds up the pressure. Treatment with the Aircast Cryo/Cuff reduces swelling and relieves symptoms. This gives the patient more freedom of movement and the chance of a faster recovery.

Hot and Cold Packs

Hot and cold packs can be used for both heat and cold therapy. Hot and cold packs are suitable to warm up or cool down. For a cold pack, the pack is often placed in the refrigerator or freezer, or in a container of ice water. A hot pack can be heated up by placing the pack in the microwave or oven, or in a container of hot water. Hot and cold packs remain comfortable and flexible at any temperature, whether hot or cold.

Elasto Gel Packs

Elasto Gel has packs in all shapes and sizes, suitable for different parts of the body. Elasto Gel products improve the blood circulation in the skin, muscles, capsules and ligaments of the neck and shoulders. Elasto Gel products can be used both hot and cold. The gel is packed in an inner cover and a washable, stretchable outer cover.

Sissel Packs

Sissel offers the Soft Touch Pro Hot/Cold Pack. The pack has an ergonomic shape: a three-part fit and it’s flexible. This allows the pack to be placed very precisely over the part to be treated, so that the pack provides immediate relief.

Mueller

Mueller has sprays, pads, wraps and compresses to carry out hot and cold therapy. The Mueller Cooling Spray quickly alleviates pain and reduces the risk of swelling. The spray is often used in the treatment of acute (sports) injuries. The 12 x 15 cm/ 15 x 22.9 cm Hot and Cold Wrap from Mueller is ideal for the application of hot and cold therapy in combination with compression. The wrap is suitable for multiple use.
