Kitchen aids

PhysioSupplies has a very diverse range of kitchen aids. From hand wringer to preparation board, from peeling aid to automatic whisk and from peeler to breadboard, PhysioSupplies has it all. There is also a wide choice of jar openers, lids can be taken off with minimal effort. Openers for cans, packs, screw caps and bottles are also available.

Food and drink

Special products have been designed for people who need a little extra assistance when eating and drinking. Plate rims serve as an aid for people with limited coordination. An extra high rim on the plate ensures that food is unable to slip off. There are also plates which already have a high rim, for example the Able2 GripWare Round Scoop Dish Plastic.

Specially designed cups are available to make drinking easier. Cups with two extra large handles are available for people with little grip or dexterity to hold a cup with one hand. There are also cups with a cut out for the nose, ideal for people who are unable to tilt their head backwards. Cups with deep grooves giving the user more grip when holding it, and cups with a handy spout lid can also be purchased.

Scissors and grippers

Scissors are available in various colours and sizes and suitable for different purposes. Able2 offers special loop scissors that are suitable for people with painful or swollen joints in the hand or wrist, as with rheumatism. An example of loop scissors is the Able2 Mini Easi-Grip Scissors. These scissors are suitable for fine cutting work, such as trimming nails or cutting thread when sewing.

Able2 also offers standard scissors with one large eye and one small eye. It is possible to choose a pointed or round end, and there are scissors especially for left and right-handed people. PhysioSupplies’ range also includes scissors with dual control. These scissors are ideal for people with limited motor skills and are also intended for people who want to learn how to cut, such as children for example.

Grippers are also a useful tool for the kitchen and other places in and around the house. A gripper allows people with limited reach to pick up and move objects. Grippers are furthermore suitable for people with limited use of the hand or arm.

Medication and anti-slip items

A pillbox is an ideal invention for people who have to take several pills a day. By using a pill box you get a clear overview of the pills to be taken. The chance of accidentally forgetting to take a pill is therefore very small. The Anabox® 7 days in a box consists of seven boxes; one for each day and each with a different colour. A day box also contains several compartments for pills that have to be taken in the morning, afternoon, evening or at night.

Items with anti-slip provide more grip. Anti-slip coasters or trays prevent cups, mugs or plates from easily slipping. An anti-slip bottle or jar opener provides more grip for the palm, fingers and thumb, making it easier to take off a cap or lid.
