The conventional adhesive from Tensoplast bandages consists out of zinc oxide. This porous adhesive is applied in a special manner to the carrier material allowing the skin to breathe freely. The carrier material from Tensoplast consists out of cotton/rayon.
Tensoplast has soft edges without selvedge which helps prevent wrinkling and necking. The elastic skin adhesive bandage is especially suitable for when movement restriction is indicated.
Applications Tensoplast:
- during sprain treatment
- during sports injuries treatment
- during treatment of varicose veins and venous ulcer
- during treatment with fixation of dressings
