The Aircast Foot Cryo/Cuff can easily be put around the foot. It closes with Velcro and has a band for extra support that goes around the ankle. This keeps the packing in its place. With the joint at the front, the Aircast Foot Cryo/Cuff can be attached to the tube of the Aircast Cryo/Cuff IC Cooler.
From the IC Cooler, cold water will float through the packing. This will built up pressure and will cool the swelling at the same time. Because of the double action, the swelling will reduce quickly and the patient will get more freedom of movement.
The Aircast Foot Cryo/Cuff can only be used in combination with the Aircast Cryo/Cuff IC Cooler. It is available in the sizes S (18-23 cm), M (23-33 cm) and L (25-43 cm).
