Baseline BIMS 3-Piece Hand Evaluation Set
The adjustable 5-position handle accommodates all hand sizes for accurate and repeatable grip and pinch strength measurements. Clinic model for use by the practitioner. The quick test shows and stores the maximum (peak) value for each scan. The average (mean), standard deviation (SD), and coefficient of variation (CV) are calculated and displayed for each (series of scans) test. Results can toggle from lbs to kgs. Exertion and rest times are set by users (1⁄2 second to 60 seconds in 1⁄2 second intervals). The Dynamometer has a full-color display that makes graphs, charts, and commands easy to read.
Different models:
- Functional model:Live Test shows real time and maximum (peak) value. test result is not recorded.
- Deluxe model: Live Test: shows real time and maximum (peak)value. test result is not recorded.Quick Test: shows real time and maximum (peak)scan value during set time duration. test result is recorded. GST (General Strength Test): 3 consecutive scans at the same grip level (peak, mean, SD, COV). RET (Rapid Exchange Test): requires 6 alternating hand scans at the same grip level. MMVE (Modified Maximum Voluntary Effort Test): 5-grip position test requires: 5 scans per hand; 1 at each grip level. MVE (Maximum Voluntary Effort Test): 5-grip position test requires: 5 scans per hand; 3 at each grip level. And got a Fatigue (Work Test): requires one extended time scan. Permits comparison of total work (strength exerted) over two or more user defined time periods.
