The MOTOmed Gracile is specially designed to meet the needs of children with physical disabilities and muscle disorders. A unique feature is the extra small pedal distance of 12 cm. The pedal distance is adjusted to the narrow hip structure of children. The large height adjustment of the pedal axle ensures that the MOTOmed Gracile can be adjusted to the height of the child. This makes the MOTOmed Gracile even suitable for use with small children.

Training with the MOTOmed Gracile is a therapy with only positive side effects and can be used both passively and actively. Thanks to its simple operation, the MOTOmed Gracile is suitable for everyone and offers support where needed;
Passive training: The MOTOmed moves you. Passive movement without muscle strength is essential in preventing joint stiffness. It helps relax muscles and reduces spasticity. Passive training improves blood flow and therefore the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles.
Training with support: The MOTOmed supports you. Train with minimal muscle strength and the motor in the MOTOmed supports the movement. The user's resilience is supported in such a way that endurance and muscle strength can continue to be trained.
Active training: Trap yourself. The user actively trains against an adjustable resistance, from light to heavy. When the muscle strength decreases, the motor will provide support and the muscles can relax. Active training with short breaks has a positive influence on the total training time and the progress of therapy.
Spasm registration: Muscle tension is recorded during the entire training and the MOTOmed stops at the smallest signal of cramp. When a spasm is registered, the motor stops and will quietly rebuild the speed in the opposite direction of rotation.
