A cable with two electrodes can be connected to each channel. The device generates stimulation pulses, which are conducted to the nerves underneath via the cable, electrodes and the skin. Intensity, pulse duration and frequency (number of pulses per second = Hz.) can be adjusted with the adjustment buttons. You can work with one or two channels.

Both channels have a plus and a minus pole. So you work with two or four electrodes.

As a rule, it is recommended to work with two channels and therefore four electrodes. The choice to work with one or two channels is mainly determined by the area to be treated and the possibility of placing electrodes.

Pain

Pain can have various causes and manifest itself in various ways. The way we experience pain differs per individual. Even if the pain you have is very similar to the pain of someone else, it cannot simply be said that the cause of the pain is the same. Pain has a function. It warns us of a threat, which could be harmful. It is therefore advisable to first determine the cause of the pain!

TENS is the abbreviation for transcutaneous electrical neuro ( nerve) stimulation. TENS is a safe and easy-to-perform form of treatment that has no adverse side effects. Electrical pulses are transmitted via electrodes on the skin to nerves, which further conduct the signal. Depending on the stimulus characteristics, such as pulse shape, frequency, pulse time, modulation, etc., TENS can work in several ways. Moreover, the correct setting may differ per individual.
