The AED Lifepak CR2 is equipped with Wi-Fi. When it is in use, emergency workers can analyse the situation from a distance. They will be fully informed when they arrive at the scene. They know the amount of shocks that is given and what the ECG of the victim looks like.

The CR2 is easy to use. It has a design with simple images and clear instructions. This makes it easy to use for everyone. You will see immediately how the device works. The ClearVoice-technology makes it possible for the AED to adjust the volume of the spoken instructions according to the background sounds.

When performing chest compressions, the heart rhythm of the patient is continuously monitored. An advice about when to give a shock will automatically be given. There is no need to pause for this. This makes it possible to give more chest compressions and create a better blood flow. The change of surviving will be enlarged.

The AED Lifepak CR2 can also be used on children. The device has a child modus. When this button is pressed, the energy level of a shock will be adapted. The device will also give other instructions. It is possible to use the normal electrodes, there are no special child-electrodes needed.

The Wi-Fi not only makes the device easier to use, it also has benefits when the device is not in use. The so-called LIFELINKcentral AED program management makes it possible to monitor the device from a distance. When something is wrong, for example when the battery is low or when the device is not in place, it will send a warning automatically.

The battery and electrodes of the AED Lifepak CR2 have a lifetime of 4 years. After this period of time, both the battery and electrodes need to be replaced. When the AED is used in this period, they have to be replaced sooner.
